"Southwestern Bell Partners in Progress with Older Americans" will be conducted at three locations this month.
The one-day conferences are intended for discussion of "how to cope with transition and making life continuously rewarding."
The conferences will be held:
Oct. 23: First Christian Church, Poplar Bluff.
Oct. 25: Sikeston Inn, Sikeston.
Oct. 30, Mineral Area College Gerontology Center, Flat River.
The sessions, scheduled from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., are sponsored by Southwestern Bell Telephone and the Southeast Missouri Area Agency on Aging.
The conferences are free, including a noon meal. However, reservations are required no later than Wednesday.
Registration forms are available at the local Senior Center, RSVP office, or by calling, toll-free, 1-800-392-8771.
Transportation may be provided if pre-arranged, by calling the nearest Senior Nutrition Center.
The conferences are funded by a $5,000 grant from Southwestern Bell Foundation.
