AFTER-SCHOOL-AGE KIDS ACTIVITES WORKSHOP TOPIC

A workshop on activities for after-school age children will be held Wednesaday at 7 p.m. at the Early Childhood Center, 1912 Broadway.

The program is part of the Workshop on Wheels series, sponsored by the Department of Human Environmental Studies, Southeast Missouri State University and the Area Licensed Providers Association.

The presention is a collection of ideas for "big" kids. Planning a circus with songs, fingerplays, creative movement and dozens of other activities for indoor and outdoors will be part of the session. Utilizing air and water play, puppets, a county fair and rodeo will be additional subjects.

All area home and center child care providers, early childhood teachers, students and parents may attend.
