People wanting lawmakers to override Gov. Jay Nixon's veto of an income-tax cut also have turned out at multiple hearings.

Curtman said one of the best suggestions to come from the hearings is a proposed formula to determine the cost effectiveness of state expenditures.

During a hearing Thursday at the Capitol, one woman suggested removing games from state computers to prevent employees from wasting time.
