ADULT RE-ENTRY CONFERENCE PLANNED FOR WEDNESDAY

The Cape Girardeau Vocational Technical School will host an Adult Re-Entry Conference Wednesday from 8:30-noon for persons needing to go back to school.
"Looking for a job can be discouraging for anyone," said Dorothy Hardy, director and counselor of the Single Parent Program. "But for the individual without specific skills, it can be devastating."
When faced with few job opportunities due to lack of education and training, many people decide to go back to school.

The re-entry conference will cover a variety of topics such as building self-esteem, overcoming the fear of computers and seeking out financial aid.
Prizes will be donated by JCPenney. A Famous Barr cosmetic expert will be available to demonstrate proper makeup for casual and business wear.
