The Cape Girardeau Adult Basic Education program is offering fall classes at 13 places in five counties. The classes, which are free, offer students an opportunity to work on improving reading, writing and math skills, and prepare for the GED test.
Classes are available from 7:45 a.m. until 8 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays and until 3 p.m. Fridays at the Vo-Tech Learning Center in Cape Girardeau; 6-9 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays in Jackson; 6-9 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays at Woodland School in Marble Hill; 6-9 p.m. Tuesdays at Perryville; 6-9 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays at Chaffee; 8 a.m. to noon and 6-9 p.m. at Advance; 3:30-5:30 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays at TriCon Industries; 5-8 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays at Thorngate; and 6-9 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays at the Salvation Army.
