ADDS NEW SERVICE

Alcohol & Drug Abuse Services has added a new service a driving improvement program.

The new program, designed by AAA, has been acknowledged by several states, including Missouri, for use for traffic violation point reduction, or insurance premium discount.

The new program is offered on Saturdays, at cost of $30.

"This is a state certified program," said a spokesman of the Alcohol & Drug Abuse Services, located at 1606 Independence, Suite 3B. "The course which consists of eight hours of classroom instruction, with testing is usually for people who have received minor traffic offenses."

The new service compliments another service offered by the firm, alcohol-related driving classes, which consists of 10 hours of classroom work.
