Competition among the classes at Notre Dame High School will be fierce during Activity Week next week.
Activity Week begins Friday and is a fund-raising event for the Catholic high school. Classes will compete to see who can raise the most money. King and queen candidates from the winning class will be crowned during a dance Sept. 28.
Some of the activities include a magazine drive, candy and fruit sales, car washes and other work projects. Each class also will serve a dinner for the public. The meals will be served from 5-7 p.m.
Friday -- Fried chicken served by the freshman class.
Monday -- Oriental feast served by the junior class.
Tuesday -- Barbecue port served by the senior class.
Wednesday -- Kettle-cooked beef served by the sophomore class.
All proceeds from the event will help offset the cost of tuition at the school.
