Three people were injured in two separate accidents Tuesday.
Dave Cline, 20, of Oriole was injured when he lost control of a 1990 Volkswagen and the vehicle overturned.
At 3:25 p.m., Cline was driving northbound on Route V in Cape Girardeau County when he ran off the roadway and struck a utility pole. He was not wearing a seat belt, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Cline was being treated for his injuries in the emergency room at Southeast Hospital at presstime.
A Morley woman's 1993 Mercury went out of control on wet pavement and overturned at 2:10 p.m.
Sandra Lawless, 24, and her infant daughter, Starr, were treated and released at Southeast Hospital.
Lawless was wearing a seat belt and her daughter was restrained in a child car seat, according to the highway patrol.
