A woman and an infant suffered minor injuries in a one-vehicle accident near Cape Girardeau Wednesday morning.
The driver, Tammy L. Nunnery, 22, and passenger Shane M. Nunnery, both of Cape Girardeau, were taken to Southeast Missouri Hospital by private vehicle after the accident, which occurred on County Road 621, two miles north of Cape Girardeau.
The accident occurred at 7:20 a.m. as Tammy Nunnery's vehicle, which was southbound, overturned after running off the side of the road and down an embankment, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
A Bollinger County woman suffered moderate injuries in a one vehicle-accident Tuesday evening.
Eula M. Papp, 86, of Zalma was taken by ambulance to St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau after the accident on Route H, three miles south of Route 34, according to the highway patrol.
The accident occurred as Papp's vehicle went out of control on a curve, struck a ditch and hit an embankment. The accident happened at 5:20 p.m.
