CHARLESTON -- A Tennessee woman was killed Tuesday when the car she was driving struck a tractor-trailer along Highway 60 east of Charleston.

The Missouri Highway Patrol said the woman, Grace O. Miller, 80, of Clarksville, was killed after the car crossed the center line and struck the tractor-trailer driven by Kenneth R. Jamvold, 50, of East Horton, Kan.

The accident occurred at 10:15 a.m. eight miles east of Charleston. Horton was not injured, the patrol said.

Miller's body was taken to the Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie.
