ACCIDENT CLAIMS KENTUCKY MAN'S LIFE

WYATT -- A Kentucky man was killed in a two-vehicle accident Sunday afternoon in Mississippi County, three miles west of Wyatt.

James F. Ray, 47, of Bowling Green, Ky., was killed Sunday after he apparently lost control of his vehicle and hit another vehicle, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.

Ray was traveling eastbound on Highway 60 when his vehicle collided with a vehicle driven by Ronnie L. Welch, 41, of Cairo.

Injured in the accident was Glen D. Welch, 35, also of Cairo. Welch sustained moderate injuries and was taken to Missouri Delta Hospital in Sikeston.
