The Jackson charter chapter of the American Business Women's Association is now taking applications for scholarships for the fall semester, 1996. To qualify for a scholarship, candidates must adhere to the criteria set forth by the ABWA.

The criteria includes, but is not limited to:

1. Must be resident of Cape Girardeau County.

2. Must include a biographical statement of one's self.

3. Application must be filled out in its entirety.

4. Statement must include a current transcript and maintain a GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.

The deadline for applications are Friday, March 29. Applications will be selected by the full membership of the ABWA and recipients will be notified by letter form of scholarship amount at the April meeting and can be as much as $500 or as little as $100.
