Absentee balloting lasts until April 3

Any registered Cape Girardeau County voter wishing to vote absentee for the April elections may do so now through April 3.

There are two locations where voters can either cast ballots absentee or register to vote.

Cape Girardeau County Courthouse Annex at 44 N. Lorimier St. is open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; closed from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m daily. Cape Girardeau County Administration Building, county clerk's office, 1 Barton Square, third floor in Jackson is open during the same hours without a midday closure. Both offices will be open until 5 p.m. on April 3.
