A Jackson woman allegedly abducted this morning in Cape Girardeau by her estranged husband has been found alive in Mississippi.

Cape Girardeau Police earlier today issued an advisory alerting people to be on the lookout for Jessica Lynn Douglas, 24, and James H. Douglas, 29, who police said abducted the woman at her place of work at 320 N. Kingshighway just before 10 a.m. The two then drove away in a maroon Lincoln LS. Jessica Douglas later contacted family members, saying she was being held against her will.

Cpl. Adam Glueck said that the police department and the FBI worked together throughout the day to develop information on both subjects. Glueck said the two were located at a Jackson, Miss., hotel. Glueck said that law enforcement were awaiting James Douglas as he left the hotel room around 5:45 p.m., and took him into custody without incident.
