`AAA' RATING

APPLETON, Wis. Aid Association for Lutherans (AAL) has received the highest possible claims paying rating, "AAA," from Duff and Phelps Credit Rating Co., an investment research and financial consulting company based in Chicago.

AAL, headquarters in Appleton, Wis., provides its 1.5 million members nationwide with insurance, including life, health, disability income, and retirement products.

"We're pleased that Duff and Phelps has given us its most prestigious rating," said AAL president and chief executive officer Dick Gunderson.

Several AAL branches are located throughout Southeast Missouri.
