72-year-old Campbell woman victim of murder

CAMPBELL, Mo. -- According to the Dunklin County Sheriff's Department, 72-year-old Reba Magouirk was found in her residence on Hopper Street suffering from injuries sustained in an assault.

Magouirk was taken to Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett, where she was pronounced dead. Preliminary autopsy results indicate she died of head trauma.

The incident was reported to the Campbell Police Department at 8:30 p.m. Friday. The Campbell Police asked for assistance from the Dunklin County Major Case Squad. The death is currently also being investigated by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
