POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. -- Four Poplar Bluff teen-agers were in custody after they were arrested Monday night for allegedly burglarizing a local residence.

Their arrests were the result of a report to police from a resident.

A woman told police three men knocked at her house, and when she opened the door they forced their way in and demanded money.

The men, who were wearing masks, had to flee after a struggle with residents.

Police said the residents provided a description of the vehicle that the intruders used to flee the scene.
