NEELYVILLE -- Four people were injured in a two-vehicle accident Friday afternoon.

Melvin Brock, 34, of Neelyville suffered serious injuries and was taken to Doctors Hospital in Poplar Bluff. Brock was driving a 1972 Chevrolet pickup westbound on Route 142, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

All three people in the second vehicle, an eastbound 1994 Ford, suffered minor injuries. Driver Dwight McCoy, 42, of Neelyville and passengers Cynthia McCoy, 41, and Joshua McCoy, 12, both of Neelyville, were transported to Lucy Lee Hospital.

According to the highway patrol, Brock's vehicle failed to yield to McCoy's vehicle and was struck.
