Three people escaped with only minor injuries and a fourth was unhurt after two pickup trucks collided just before 2 p.m. Thursday in Perry County, Mo., the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
Dale W. Braddy, 17, and Taylor M. Brown, 18, were riding in a 1986 Ford F150 driven by Logan Hudson, 17, when it collided with a 2005 Chevrolet 2500 driven by Marian A. Heberlie, 48, on County Road 914, the patrol reported.
Both vehicles were attempting to pass on a curve when they collided about a mile and a half north of Highway V, the patrol reported.
Heberlie, who was using a safety belt, was not injured in the crash, which caused moderate damage to the Chevrolet and totaled the Ford, the patrol reported.
Braddy, Brown and Hudson -- none of whom was using a safety belt -- were taken to Perry County Memorial Hospital for minor injuries, the patrol reported.
