MOUNTAIN GROVE, Mo. (AP) -- Police in southwest Missouri are investigating what they believe was a murder-suicide that left three people dead and one wounded.
Mountain Grove police said Friday that a woman is hospitalized with a life-threatening gunshot wound in the head. Investigators said the shooter was the husband of the wounded woman.
The other victims are the man's mother-in-law and sister-in-law who was 11 years old.
Police said the man came into the home through the garage at around 9 p.m. Thursday and opened fire with a .22 caliber rifle, shooting everyone in the head.
