Cape Girardeau police are investigating an armed robbery from Thursday night with as many as four suspects.
Three men went to a house in the 400 block of South Hanover Street at about 8:45 p.m. thinking they were going to buy marijuana, Lt. Rodney Barker said. Instead, the approximately four men — the witnesses did not know exactly how many — waiting inside allegedly pointed guns at the unsuspecting victims and took their wallets and cellphones. Police do not have any known suspects at this time but have interviewed the victims, Barker said.
