KENNETT, Mo. -- Three people are facing charges for the robbery of a 93-year-old Southeast Missouri man. The Daily Dunklin Democrat reported that the suspects range in age from 17 to 34. All three face robbery charges. Police say Orville Abmeyer of Kennett was sitting in a swing outside his home Sunday afternoon when two women approached him. Abmeyer told police that one of the women grabbed him and took the wallet from the pocket of his coveralls. The wallet contained $230. The women ran to a car driven by a man. Police found the suspects at another home and arrested them. Police say all but $8 of the money was gone.
