Police reported no injuries. "I believe all the accidents we had were real minor fender benders," James said.

All but one of the accidents involved two vehicles, police reported. In the remaining accident a vehicle driven by Leslie M. Pemberton of Charleston struck a fence owned by McDonald's restaurant at Broadway and Helena.

Police reported that two of the accidents involved vehicles that had left the scene.
