2008 Homecomers talent show winners

Singers and dancers performed in two nights of competition for the Jackson Homecomers talent show Thursday and Friday. Contestants ranged in ages from 6 to 18. Each of the winners was invited to the Mid South Fair in Memphis, Tenn., in late September.

The winners were:

Ages 13 to 21

First place: Small Town Boyz Band (Collin Barret, Taylor Barret, Anthony Busey, Kaleb Huggins and Nick Scarpaci)

Second place: Kayla Foster

Third place: Bailey Duncan, Kayla Foster and Brooke Qualls

Ages 6 to 12

First place: Sidney Robertson

Second place: Sloane Johnson

Third place: Melissa Colyer, Rachel Colyer, Elizabeth Harvey, Joanna Lee and Sidney Robertson
