A hospital spokeswoman refused to provide any information.

The university says the first-year student was standing on a chair in another student's room when he fell through the screen of an open window at Fitzgerald Hall on the Warrensburg campus.

The Web site reported that Owere knocked out windows on the third and second floors on his way to the ground.
