The truck's driver, Dennis Thiele, 37, of Cape Girardeau, also flown to St. Francis Medical Center, was listed in stable condition Monday night.

The patrol said Thiele's truck crossed the center line, sideswiped a truck and struck the Farrows' car head-on.

The three teens in the sideswiped truck weren't injured.

The patrol hasn't issued any citations. A spokesman said the accident investigation is continuing.
