1991 FALL HUNTING CLASSIC WILL LAST THROUGH SUNDAY IN SPRINGFIELD

SPRINGFIELD -- The 1991 Fall Hunting Classic kicks off today at the Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World Showroom in Springfield.

World-renowned bow hunter Myles Keller will be featured seminar speaker, with presentations on Friday at 6 p.m. and Saturday at 12:25 p.m.

Other speakers and topics include Ray Eye on fall turkey hunting, Harold Knight on whitetail hunting techniques, Bill Jordan on the importance of proper camouflage, and Ben Lee on how to use deer hunting scents.

A ladies handgun seminar and clinic will be at 7 p.n. tonight, and kids are invited to compete in the first-ever "Kid's Waterfowl Calling Contest" at 6:20 p.m. Saturday.

The show runs through Sunday, and all seminars and shows are free. Outdoor World is located at 1935 South Campbell in Springfield.
