A narcotics investigation conducted by several Southeast Missouri law enforcement agencies resulted in the arrest of 16 Missouri residents Tuesday, according to a news release from the Cape Girardeau Police Department.
Warrants were issued for seven additional Missouri residents.
Police are looking for Darrin J. Norman, 41 and Donald F. Pratt, 42, both of Wappapello, Mo.; Amber Sample, 25, of Scott City; Chad A. Bostic, 37, of Bloomfield, Mo.; Rica D. Smith of Portageville, Mo.; John H. Taylor, 26, of Cape Girardeau; and Nicholas J. Hertel, 24, of Arnold, Mo.
Norman, Pratt and Sample face charges of possession of methamphetamine precursor with the intent to manufacture. Bostic and Smith face charges of felony stealing and Taylor and Hertel face charges of possession of a controlled substance.
Cape Girardeau police, the Southeast Missouri Drug Task Force, Cape Girardeau County Sheriff's Department, Jackson police and the Missouri State Highway Patrol worked together to arrest Jatyson N. Warfield, 21, of Sikeston; Aaron D. Davenport, 18, and Derek B. Friese, 29, both of Jackson; Angela L. Sample, 48 and Soila R. Reyna, 20, both of Scott City; and Christopher W. Williams, 19, of Commerce, Mo.
Cape Girardeau residents arrested in the investigation are Michael R. Kawelaske, 21, Brittney S. Lambert, 19, Alton C. Turner, 20, Ophelia Smith, 46, Pamela Hemphill, 48, Kelly Fann, 25, Bonnie Eldridge, 26, Maria Ottesen, 37, Chad D. Slaten, 23, and Kevin E. Strubinger, 40.
All are facing drug-related charges.
