JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (AP) -- A lesser-known governor's candidate and a former state senator who was running for treasurer are among 14 people disqualified from the ballot by the Missouri Ethics Commission.
The commission says the candidates failed to file personal financial disclosure statements, as required by law.
Christina Anderson, of Springfield, had declared her candidacy for governor as a Democrat.
Former Democratic Sen. Charlie Wheeler, of Kansas City, had filed to run for state treasurer.
Also disqualified from the August primary ballot were eight candidates for the state House and four candidates for county offices.
