ANNA, Ill. -- Illinois State Police and local law enforcement officers raided an underage drinking party Tuesday in Anna, arresting 13, including one on suspicion of distributing marijuana.
The raid took place about 11:30 p.m., according to a statement issued by the Illinois State Police. Officers with the Anna Police Department and the Union County Sheriff's Department accompanied state troopers.
The statement said Timothy M. Williams, 19, of Dongola, Ill., had about 4 ounces of marijuana with him when he was stopped by officers. He was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, marijuana possession, marijuana possession with intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The other arrested, all on suspicion of illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor, are: Jeremy S. Harris, 19, and Rachel M. Harvey, 17, both of Dongola; Joshua E. Estes, 17, Malori L. Edwards, 18, Stephany N. Bailey, 18, and Sydney R. Haynes, 18, all of Anna; Ryan B. Cerney, 17, Peter M. Plesko, 19 and Alison M. Brown, 18, all of Jonesboro, Ill.; Forest L., Freyenberger, 20, of Alto Pass, Ill.; Kaleb J. Whipple, 17, of Marion, Ill,; and Derek M. Sloan, 19, of Galatia, Ill.
