That's a lot of onesies. Eleven babies were born at Saint Francis Medical Center on Friday and they all will have the birthday of 11/11/11 -- a record-high single-day number of births for the Cape Girardeau hospital.
The babies started arriving at 7:33 a.m. and didn't stop until 5:55 p.m., hospital spokesman Emily Sikes said. The hospital normally averages about five deliveries each day, she said. Friday was Veterans Day and the final baby born was Cael August Berry, the son of Lance Berry, a U.S. Navy recruiter.
