What's up Cape? This is Squeak, bringing you a little bit of the flavor that went down at Breakaways last Friday. They had the line up of Tone def all stars, Lojic, and Fragile porcelain mice.

Around nine Tone def took the stage. If you have never seen a Tone def show it's probably safe to say you live with your mother, and don't got out much. As for the rest of us, we all know Tone def is Cape's party band. Although they now have a different look and sound. They now have the bass player from the band Funky Donkey Cheese. They also have added a keyboardist to the line up. This adds to the overall sound of Tone def. Just like always when they break out songs like "Your too skinny to f*ck" the bar top quickly fills with smoking hot ladies, shaking what the good Lord gave them. So needless to say the Tone def all stars got the party poppin.

Now it was time for Lojic to take stage. If you have not heard of these guy's LISTEN UP!!!!! They hail from St. Louis, and are produced by Steve Ewing. You all know he's the man. Anyways they came out and kicked my ass personally. To me they sounded a lot like 311. They had a guy that was with them who was break dancing in front of the stage. Now I'm not talking Mr. Roboto, this guy was spinning on his head on carpet no less. Anyone who saw that will tell you he had it going on. If you ever get a chance to see them don't miss it, Their new album is called "The Manual" pick it up. You can also check them out at www.planetlogic.com

The time had come for Fragile porcelain mice. These guys are insane. Where in the hell was the mosh pit? This sh*t was so heavy my neck was sore for days. Have you ever banged your head for hours? The lead singer of Fragile Scott Randall has a very strange stage presence. Like is this guy going to be O.K.? Their bassist Dave Winkeler has dwse non stop bass riffs that send chills up and down your spine. Their guitarist Tim O'Saben was on the other side of the stage so I couldn't hear him as well, but I could tell he was tearing it up. When it comes to their drummer Mark Heinz anyone who can keep up with these guy's is kicking ass!! Their new album is "The best of modem rock". You can also check them out at www, ftagileporcelainmice.corn

In a quick closer if you were not there YOU MISSED OUT!!! We all need to get out there and support our local music scene. If we don't support it we may not have one, Then what would you do around here? Much love to Breakaways for hosting a killer show!! Much love also to the Tone def all stars, Lojic, and Fragile porcelain mice. Come back soon..

Peace, Squeak
