LETTERS: THANKS FOR RIVER DRIVE EFFORT

To the editor:

I wish to take this opportunity to thank Benjamin Israel for the excellent articles and coverage he provided for the 1997 Mississippi River Valley Scenic Drive. The articles were well-written and superbly illustrated. They did much to create interest in the drive and called special attention to the rich history of this region. All of us involved in the drive and efforts to call attention to the beauty and history of the area are most appreciative of what you did. Thank you.

I do think that any time Benjamin would like to take a drive and stop in Brazeau, he will find a friend. He was quite a hit there. Thank you for articles that called positive attention to the drive.
