Our freedoms are eroding

I believe past and current administrations are in the process of destroying my beloved country. I, like many others, spent four years in the armed forces. I am sad because we should have the ability to have freedom of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. We are on a path right now to destroy all those beliefs.

Those military personnel who have paid the utmost sacrifice for their country are turning over in their graves now. You cannot give more than your last breath to ensure that freedom remains in the same sentence when talking about the U.S.

Nothing our current government is doing strengthens our freedoms. The government is telling those who are taking money from the stimulus plan that when they want to pay it back they will not accept it. What gives my government the right to tell a private citizen or private-sector company how to run their lives or company? I do not think that is what any good American wants.

I understand there are some laws that need to be in place. The laws that they pass for us they turn around and exempt themselves from following. The government has never been able to take care of me better than I can take care of myself, and I believe that to be true of any individual here in the U.S.
