Letter to the Editor

Obama is not my president

William Piercey Sr.'s recent op-ed column was right on target. This article should be in every newspaper in the country.

I fear for our country. I fear for all of us if we don't take a stand and hold the government accountable for the communists, socialists and radicals who are surrounding and advising Obama.

I cannot call him President Obama. Anyone who is not proud of his country and apologizes for it is not my president. Anyone who leaves God out of his country is not my president. Anyone who is trying to take over our industries and our right to make our own health decisions is not my president.

In an article by Pat Boone, it states that Obama says, "We are no longer a Christian nation" and also says,"You might say America is a Muslim nation." Mr. Boone states,"I keep wondering what country he believes he's president of."

Obama has aligned himself with radical extremists who hate America and wish to see America fail. The mass media, except for Fox News, give him free rein on everything. I hope and pray that he doesn't have the power to silence those who are speaking the truth.

In short, Obama scares me. I pray he doesn't destroy the American dream and destroy my beautiful country that I love.
