The Southeast Missouri State track and field team continued its string of Ohio Valley Conference weekly honors on Wednesday.

Senior Reggie Miller was the latest Redhawk to be named the OVC's field athlete of the week.

His jump of 52 feet, 9 inches, in the triple jump at the Gateway Dual Meet against SIU Edwardsville on Saturday is the fourth-longest triple jump in the country.

"That jump is a tremendous way to start his season," Southeast coach Eric Crumpecker said in a press release. "It should easily get him into indoor nationals."

Miller competed at the NCAA Outdoor Championships the past two seasons, and won the high jump and finished second in the triple jump at last year's OVC indoor championships.

The Redhawks will compete at the Indiana Relays this weekend.
