Chenier, competing in her third consecutive regional competition, placed 14th out of 21 gymnasts in the all-around with a score of 38.175. Roberts, a sophomore making her first regional appearance, finished 16th with a 37.825.

The top 12 gymnasts advanced to the NCAA National Championships later this month. The 12th-place finisher advanced with a score of 38.300.

Chenier scored a 9.625 on the vault, 9.725 on the bars, 9.200 on the balance beam and 9.625 on the floor exercise. Roberts recorded scores of 9.425 on the vault, 9.750 on the bars, 9.250 on the beam and 9.400 on the floor.
