Notre Dame sophomore Jessica Menz set a school record in winning the discus at the Hillsboro Invitational on Friday.

The Notre Dame girls track team tied for fourth place, while the Bulldogs boys team also finished fourth at Friday's 18-team Hillsboro Invitational.

Sophomore Jessica Menz provided Notre Dame's lone victory on the girls side with a toss of 113 feet in the discus, a school record.

Junior Elizabeth Kiblinger was second in the 1,600, while Myriah Bernard was second in the shot put with a school-record throw.

Perryville's girls team, led by Justice Schumer's fifth-place finish in the long jump, took 17th.

The Notre Dame boys won the 400 relay and junior Duncan Ross finished first in the pole vault.

Notre Dame's Seth Sievers was second in the discus.

Junior Terry Davis won the long jump to lead Perryville, which finished 13th in the team standings.
