BENTON, Mo. -- Kelly High outscored Egyptian, Ill. 15-3 over two games as its pitchers allowed a combined seven hits Wednesday.
The Lady Hawks (15-4) ripped Egyptian 9-2 in the first game, then recorded a 6-1 victory in the nightcap.
In the first game, Bridgett Riley picked up the win. She allowed one earned run on four hits and three walks.
Sara Essner went 3-for-4, while Riley, Dana Essner and Cara Scherer all had two hits each. Scherer drove home three runs.
In the second game, Dana Essner picked up the victory. She fanned eight and walked one while giving up just three hits.
DELTA 10, NOTRE DAME JV 0
DELTA, Mo. -- The young Lady Bobcats needed just five innings to knock off Notre Dame's junior varsity and improve to 6-6.
Rebecca Cook was the winning pitcher. She allowed three hits and no walks while striking out two.
Ashley Elliott went 3-for-3 with a triple and Sara Cook went 2-for-3 with a triple.
On Tuesday, Delta knocked off Cape Central's JV 12-5 behind winning pitcher Ashley Martin. Tiffany Johnson and Sara Cook had two hits apiece.

The Lady Tigers suffered a close loss despite 10 kills by Rachel Spinks.
"I think this was the best we've played defensively," Cape Central coach Sheila Midget said. "We picked up a lot of things we don't normally pick up."
The Lady Tigers dropped to 1-13-1.
