The football honors continue to roll in for Southeast Missouri State seniors David Simonhoff and Edgar Jones.

The Sports Network has selected Simonhoff as its first team All-America punter, while Jones was selected for the second team All-America defense at end.

Simonhoff was named a Walter Camp first-team All-America last week as well as second team All-America by The Associated Press. He made at least one All-America team as a sophomore, junior and senior.

Simonhoff averaged 44.8 yards per punt this season to rank second nationally. He led the Ohio Valley Conference in punting for three straight years.

Jones, who is in Jackson, Miss., this week preparing for Saturday's Magnolia Gridiron Classic all-star game, led the nation in sacks this season with 12 and was fourth in tackles for loss with 18.

Last week Jones was named a first team All-America by The Associated Press.
