The Central boys and Jackson girls claimed SEMO Conference cross country championships Thursday at Central High School
The Tigers, led by second-place finisher Eric Schott, collected four top-10 finishes and totaled 36 points.
Notre Dame placed second with 47 points. The Bulldogs were followed by Jackson (77), Scott City (78), Poplar Bluff (126) and Dexter (175).
Scott City's Brandon Shemonia won the boys individual championship in 16 minutes, 20 seconds. Schott was 37 seconds behind.
Jackson's girls, led by a one-two finish by Tori Parry (19:33) and Taylor Dickerson (19:56), totaled 43 points.
Notre Dame was runner-up with 48 points, followed by Central (50), Poplar Bluff (86) and Dexter (117)

Tyler Buelow and Jonathan Clements scored goals as the Bulldogs won on the road.
Buelow scored during the first half, while Clements struck in the second half off a pass from Aaron Arnzen.
James Holloway had five saves for Notre Dame (10-9).

Shannon Brennan led the Bulldogs (22-3) with 15 assists and seven kills.
Allyson Bradshaw added 12 digs and eight kills, while Kate Edwards contributed 10 kills and two blocks in the winning effort.
Top-seed Leopold and No. 2 seed Zalma advanced to the championship match of the Mississippi Valley Conference tournament in Greenville, Mo.
Leopold turned back Greenville in two games, winning 25-9, 25-14.
Abby Landewee led Leopold with 11 kills, four blocks and four digs.
Mallory James added seven kills, three digs and two aces for the Wildcats (20-3).
Zalma won in three games against Meadow Heights after dropping the first game. The Bulldogs prevailed 24-26, 26-18, 25-18.
Jillian Mills led Meadow Heights (16-7) with 11 kills, followed by Heather Dietiker and Whitney Welker with eight apiece.
Zalma and Leopold will meet for the title at 8:30 p.m. today.
Meadow Heights and Greenville will play for third at 5:30 p.m.
Bloomfield and Bernie reached the championship match of the Stoddard County Conference tournament in Marble Hill, Mo.
Bloomfield won 22-25, 25-13, 25-20 against Dexter. Bernie swept Bell City 26-24, 25-17.
Bell City will meet Dexter at 6:30 p.m. today in the third-place match, followed by the title match at 8 p.m.
The Pirates' Natalie Gremaud collected nine kills and Samantha Amberger added seven in a home sweep.
Megan Moldenhauer recorded 16 assists to help boost Perryville (27-4).
Chelsie Boxdorfer led the Indians with 15 digs and six service points. Miranda Unterreiner had 17 digs.
