The Tigers (14-4) improved to 8-1 in the SEMO Conference. Ty Craft had the game-winning single in the sixth inning.

Scott City scored eight runs despite having just one hit during a home victory, as the Rams improved their Scott-Mississippi Conference record to 5-0.

The Rams (7-7) took advantage of seven errors and 11 walks by Charleston pitcher Josh Marshall. Scott City's only hit was a three-run triple by Jon Barr during a five-run sixth inning.

Andy Stephens struck out 10 and allowed three hits in a complete-game victory. He walked six, but just three after the first inning.

Hanback struck out seven batters and walked one in the first three innings, while Horrell fanned two more batters and also walked one over the final two frames.

Jerrod Steger went 3-for-3 with a triple for Chaffee (8-8), which had 10 hits. Josh Steger was 2-for-2.

Chaffee scored 11 runs in the second inning.
