Said coach Tim Joplin, "We generally beat Paducah, but not usually by this margin. In rugby, there is no such thing as running up the score. If we score a lot of points, it's the other team's fault for not being prepared to play the game. We ran the same plays and used the same strategy as always; they just couldn't stop us."

The Scorpions' season finale against the Memphis City Rugby Club is Saturday at Arena Park on Hawthorne Road.
