AREA BRIEFS: CLASSIC UNITED SOCCER TRYOUTS SET

Classic United Soccer Club tryouts will be held for the 1999-2000 season at Shawnee Soccer Park, on North fields 1 and 2.

Tryouts will be held for girls on July 1, 6 and 8, and for boys on July 5, 6 and 7.

The schedules for the various age groups are:

U-11 Girls (born 8-1-88 to 7-31-89), 5:30-6:30 p.m.; U-12 Girls (born 8-1-87 to 7-31-88), 6:30-7:30 p.m.; U-14 Girls (born 8-1-85 to 7-31-86), 7:30-8:30 p.m.

U-12 Boys (born 8-1-87 to 7-31-88), 5:30-6:30 p.m.; U-13 Boys (born 8-1-86 to 7-31-87), 6:30-7:30 p.m.; U-14 Boys (born 8-1-85 to 7-31-86), 7:30-8:30 p.m.

Players should arrive 20 minutes early to fill out paperwork. Players should bring a marked soccer ball and water, and they should wear shin guards and cleats.
