ZONA GREEN

EAST PRAIRIE -- Zona Lorene Green, 88, of East Prairie died Friday, June 4, 1999, at East Prairie Nursing Center.

She was born March 14, 1911, in Dyersburg, Tenn., daughter of Frank and Eunice Jetton Woods. She and Claude Green were married Feb. 22, 1931. He died Jan. 18, 1985.

Green had lived in East Prairie most of her life.

Survivors include three sons, Dennis Green of East Carondelet, Ill., Jimmy Green of Maryville, Ill., Terry Green of East Prairie; two daughters, Jo Ruth Whittington of St. Clair, Fay Buerk of Wood River, Ill.; two brothers, Marvin Woods of Paris, Ill., Raymond Woods of Dyersburg; a sister, Margie Dudley of Jackson, Tenn.; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons, two sisters, a brother, and a grandson.

Friends may call at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie after 5 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 3:30 p.m. Sunday at the chapel, with Jim Day and Burl Britt officiating. Burial will be in East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.
