Zola Eldridge, 92, of Cape Girardeau died Sunday, May 21, 2000, at Fountainbleau Lodge.
She was born April 20, 1908, at Patton, daughter of George and Bertha Sample Seabaugh. She and Sam Eldridge were married Oct. 25, 1924, at Marble Hill. He died Aug. 3, 1989.
Eldridge was a lifelong resident of Cape Girardeau, and member of First Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include three sons, Sam Eldridge of Waltham, Mass., Norman Eldridge of Joplin, Herbert Eldridge of Scott City; two daughters, Lawanda Polhamus of Apollo Beach, Fla., Sandra Pool of Benton, Ark.; 18 grandchildren; and 38 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the chapel, with the Rev. Charles Lance officiating. Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery.
