Zita Winkler

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Zita B. Winkler, 83, of Perryville died Tuesday, May 26, 2015, at Holiday Residential Care Center in Perryville.

She was born June 26, 1931, at Apple Creek, Missouri, to Louis and Dorothy Buchheit Hennemann.

She and Walter J. Winkler were married Oct. 16, 1954, at Apple Creek. He preceded her in death Dec. 30, 2013.

Survivors include a brother, Irwin (Marilyn) Hennemann of Perryville; a sister, Bernice Clements of Old Appleton, Missouri; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers and four sisters.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today and from 6:30 to 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Apple Creek. The Rev. Jim French will officiate. Burial will be in St. Michael's Cemetery in Apple Creek.

Memorials may be given to Crown Hospice or St. Michael's Cemetery.
