ZITA JOANN FASSOLD

PERRYVILLE -- Zita JoAnn Fassold, 91, of Perryville, died Tuesday, Dec. 28, 1999, at the Perry County Nursing Home.

She was born Oct. 19, 1908, at Perry County, daughter of Henry and Katharina Ermer Weibrecht. She married Herbert Fassold April 6, 1931.

Fassold was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and a former member of Peace Lutheran Church. She participated in Ladies Aid in Friedenburg.

Survivors include one son, Raymond Fassold of St. Louis; one daughter, Katherine Baker of Perryville; a brother, Harry Weibrecht of Perryville; five grandchildren and five great- grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, four brothers, and six sisters.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Chapel from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday and from 6:30 a.m. until the time of service on Thursday.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. The Rev. Craig Otto will officiate with burial in Peace Lutheran Cemetery in Friedenburg.
