ZENOBIA V. CRIDDLE

OAK RIDGE -- Zenobia V. Criddle, 88, of Oak Ridge, died Wednesday, March 23, 1994, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born July 20, 1905, at Millersville, daughter of Criddle C. and Emma C. Criddle Summers. She first married Lewis A. Hahn March 27, 1927. He died Jan. 27, 1955. She and Charles Criddle were married May 24, 1976. He died Feb. 3, 1980.

Criddle was an assemblyline worker at International Shoe Co. 22 years, retiring in 1970. She was a member of Haynes Chapel at Millersville.

Survivors include a son, Lewis E. Hahn of Marble Hill; a daughter, Shirley Stevens of Cape Girardeau; two stepsons, Charles "Bill" Criddle of Oak Ridge, David Criddle of Orlando, Fla.; two stepdaughters, Juanita Niswonger of Fruitland, Dorothy Taylor of Lynchburg, Va.; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; 12 stepgrandchildren; 22 great-step-grandchildren, and a great-great-stepgrandchild.

She was preceded in death by a brother, sister and stepgrandchild.

Friends may call at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home in Jackson from 4-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. The Rev. Jerry Sander will officiate, with burial in Fairview Cemetery near Burfordville.
