PERRYVILLE -- Zelma C. Huber, 79, formerly of Perryville, died Saturday, Jan. 6, 1996, at St. Theresa's at Southgate in St. Louis.
She was born Nov. 24, 1916, in Perry County, daughter of Peter and Pauline Modde Steinbecker. She and Chalmer "Jim" Huber were married May 20, 1938. He died Feb. 26, 1984.
Huber had been a dietitian at Ann Patterson Nursing Center. She was a member of St. Vincent's Catholic Church and Daughters of Isabella.
Survivors include two daughters, Norma Bohnert of St. Louis, Janet Brewer of Atlanta, Ga.; a brother, Herbert Steinbecker of Perryville; a sister, Clarice Devenyns of Cheyenne, Wyo.; six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother and three sisters.
Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. Wednesday and on Thursday from 6:30-9:45 a.m. The wake will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Vincent's Catholic Church. The Rev. Kevin Fausz will officiate, with burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
